Michael Chulak established Michael T. Chulak & Associates, A Law Corporation, as a general practice law firm. The firm represents clients in litigation and transactional matters, and provides consulting services.

Michael Chulak practices in the areas of homeowner association law, real property, construction, construction defects, business - corporate law, estate planning and criminal defense.

Born in Los Angeles, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Ventura-Santa Barbara College of Law. In addition to being an attorney, Michael Chulak is a licensed general building contractor and real estate broker. He has been a real estate instructor for several colleges and currently offers law courses at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita.

Michael Chulak has provided legal advice to hundreds of corporations, LLCs and partnerships and has provided consulting services to over 70 law firms in various matters including litigation and white collar crime. He has testified as an expert witness more than 100 times over the last 20 years.

Michael Chulak writes legal columns for several newspapers and has hosted a radio talk show on KVTA AM 1520 and KRLA AM 840 known as On the Law with Attorney Michael Chulak. He is the author of the website HOAQandA.com, serves as a mediator and provides free legal seminars. Michael Chulak is also one of the owners of CoastManagement.net which has provided property management services to homeowner associations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties since 1987.

Michael Chulak was the founding and managing partner of Chulak, Shiffman, Quisenberry & Drescher LLP. He is a member of Rotary International and has been a member of The Magic Castle for more than 20 years. He is available as a speaker for community organizations.
