Schedule of Attorneys Fees

The following schedule of Attorneys Fees applies to most, but not all, franchise formations. The fees do not include accounting services or government fees. In addition, the fees assume that we will provide a franchise business review and feasibility analysis which is the first item set forth below. We will provide you with a precise schedule of fixed fees after our free initial consultation.

Franchise business review and feasibility analysis $1500 - $3000
Depending on the complexity and type of business.
Preparation of the Franchise Agreement.
This is the contract between the franchisor
and franchisee.
$4000 - $4,500 for one contract. If more than one contact is required, additional contracts will be
$1,500 - $2,500 each.
Prepare the Franchise Disclosure Document
(FDD) and FTC disclosure statements
$2,500 - $3,500
If needed, provide federal and state agency administrative representation. $320 per hour
Update the disclosure documents as required by each state or for material changes made by the franchisor. $320 per hour
Franchise renewals $320 per hour
Dispute resolution including mediations, arbitrations and litigation $320 per hour

As you can see from the schedule, developing a simple franchise can cost as little as $8,000, whereas a more complex franchise can cost $11,000 or more depending on the number of states involved. Additional costs will include forming a business entity, accounting services, obtaining any trademarks, legal review of any commercial lease, postage, copies and fees to the states involved.
